The GBO-3 Information Database is currently under construction. When operational the GBO-3 Information Database will be publicly accessible and contain information relevant to the Global Biodiversity Outlook 3.

The information contained in the database will be gathered from a variety of sources, including but not limited to peer reviewed journals, government reports and institutional publications. The information contained in the database will be classified according to a variety of criteria such that it can be easily managed and retrieved.

While the information contained in the GBO-3 Information Database will be used for the preparation of GBO-3, the database can also be considered as one of the ancillary products related to the GBO-3 process. If you have or know of any information or case studies which you feel should be included in the database or in Global Biodiversity Outlook 3 we strongly encourage you to send them to GBO3@cbd.int
