COP-MOP 3 Media Facilities

Accreditation

Press passes will be issued at the media registration counter upon presentation of two forms of photo ID (passport, official national press pass, driver’s license, work ID, a photo press pass from the United Nations in New York, Geneva, Vienna, or Nairobi, etc). Pre-registration is not required for media accreditation.

Media Facilities

A press room is located on level 2, Room B.2.2. Accredited journalists have access to computers and printers in this location as well as in designated spaces in the cyber cafe on level one.

Press conferences are held in room B.2.3.

Onsite requests for interviews can be made by submitting a request for interview form, available in the press room.

Organizations wishing to distribute press releases are free to distribute these to the press pool, but must make their own photocopies.

Press Conferences

Press conferences are held in Room b.2.3. at Expotrade. Simultaneous interpretation between English and Portuguese is provided in most cases.

Conferences are held daily from 9am to 10am and from 1:15pm to 3:00pm.

The Secretariat presents a daily briefing every day from 9:15 to 9:30.
