Informal planning group Meeting, Montreal 13 and 14 November 2006

In an informal planning group meeting convened by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological diversity on 13 and 14 November 2006 in Montreal, members of the NGO consortium, the IUCN-WCPA and the SCBD agreed in organizing workshops in sub-regions to enhance capacities for implementation of “priority“ activities (identified by COP 8) and to review implementation of the programme of work on protected areas.
